Dear friends!
On behalf of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation I welcome the participants and
guests of the International Salon of the Security Means “Complex Security-2013”.
For the sixth time experts of the law enforcement agencies, scientific research institutes and
manufacturing enterprises gather at this representative forum. Over the last years it became one of the
largest and most successful exhibition projects in this sphere.
We understand very well that in a present-day state it is impossible to modernize the system of
complex security of the population, facilities, and territories without an intensive development of the
scientific and technical infrastructure. The exhibits of the salon cover a wide range of tasks in this sphere:
from enhancing anti-terrorist protection of critically important infrastructure to the public safety provision
during large political, cultural and sport events. I am convinced that many scientific and technical
developments presented here will find a wide and practical application in the near future.
I wish the organizers, participants and guests of the Salon fruitful work, efficient cooperation, new
ideas and further progress in the professional activity.
