NTERPOLITEX 2016.
This year the law enforcement system of
the Russian Federation has undergone a
drastic reorganization. In accordance with
the Decree of the President of the Russian
Federation, Mr. Vladimir V. Putin, issued on
April 5, 2016, Federal Service of National
Guard Troops (Russian Guards-Rosgvardiya)
was formed. The National Guard Troops
Service incorporated Internal Troops, units
of Rapid Reaction Forces (SOBR), Riot Police
(OMON) and the Russian Ministry of the
Internal Affairs Rapid Deployment Forces
and Aviation Special Operations Centre,
units that exert control over compliance with
legislation in the spheres of circulation of
arms and private security activities, as well
as extra-departmental security forces.
In order to efficiently fulfill its tasks,
Rosgvardiya is in need of state-of-the-art
armaments, military and special-purpose
equipment. One of the key display grounds
for innovation technologies in the state
security
domain
is
INTERPOLITEX
International Exhibition of Means of State
Security Provision, which traditionally had
Internal Troops as a partner and has now
forged partnership with Rosgvardyia.
I would like to wish all the participants
efficient work and to express confidence in
the continued fruitful cooperation between
Rosgvardiya and the INTERPOLITEX
International Exhibition.
